PTPK is a government agency under the Ministry of Human Resources, who also is responsible for enhancing skills training to prepare and manage ongoing funds to individual school leavers and working through financing to public and private training institutions registered under the Corporation. Funded loan facility is between RM 2,500 to RM 24,000 per person depending on the requested program.

Up to now there are 456 public and private training providers registered in the country willing to offer various courses in Hospitality, Electrical & Electronics, Information and Communication Technology, Cosmetology and Automotive fields. The fact is, skills training not only have an impact on the individual but also contribute significantly to the country's long-term investment.

Therefore, PTPK committed to realizing the government's goal of achieving a rate of 50 per cent of skilled workers by 2020. Sufficient funds to finance skills training and collecting the loan repayment schedule will be implemented effectively and efficiently and that is to make the world PTPK global and developed countries in resulting in the production and supply of services in the fields of proficiency in Malaysia is recognized throughout the world.

PTPK constantly trying and willing to assume the responsibilities entrusted by the government in empowering and mainstreaming skills training.
