Registration & Verification

PL should inform PTPK by submitting relevant documents that have been approved by the Department of Skill Development (DSD)
Upon completion of the registration period, the PL will be frozen from all PTPK financing  until renewal approved. If the renewal is not done in the last 12 months (one year) from the date of expiry, the PL need to reapply as a new PL of  PTPK.
Once the renewal application approves, PL's have to pay RM300 for full approval period or conditional approval period for 3 years
PL should submit their applications to the registrar and verification unit.
Yes, your Training Provider's application  for registration may be made at any time, but subject to the existing policy of  PTPK for registration approval.
PL must meet the following conditions:
PL has been registered and accredited for one year from the Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) and has issued student skills training.

* For Employee Loan Program, PL has been registered with the Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) / Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) / Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) / Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) or special approval of the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Ministers Department. PL owner was incorporated as a Private Limited Company or Limited;

2. Training or education field is a business objectives in the Memorandum and Articles of Association (MAA);

3. Minimum capital allowed RM 300,000.00

4. Paid-up capital
• RM 100,000.00 for 1 to 3 programs
• RM 150,000.00 for 4 to 8 programs
• RM 200,000.00 to for 8 programs on and above

5. Additional paid in capital of each branch (if any)
• RM 50,000.00 for 1 to 3 programs
• RM 100,000.00 for 4 to 8 programs
• RM 200, 000.00 for the 8 programs and above

6. Having instructors to teach the program applied

If approved, The new PL must pay the registration fee RM500.00 only for full or conditional approval for 3 years.

Fees

PL may submit proposals for new programs that have not been funded by PTPK with details of the fee for the program either through email / fax to PTPK for review. The results of these discussions will be presented to PTPK for review based on funding policy and the needs of the market / industry.
PL may submit a proposal to increase the fee along with details of the fee for the program either through email / fax to PTPK using the prescribed format. Applications will be reviewed and examined in PTPK level committee based on funding policy and the needs of the market / industry. The results of these discussions will be informed and updated on PTPK web page for reference.
If the TP wish to use the latest fees, the TP must submit an application to the PTPK to update the new fees in accordance with the prescribed ceiling fees for the course in question.
The Training Provider / borrower can check via PTPK’s website i.e. www.ptpk.gov.my . The display only involved programs being funded and registered by PTPK.
